How We Are Combating the Australia Post Crisis

If you've ordered online lately, you've likely been affected by the Australia Post postage crisis. Packages are becoming more and more delayed, and due to COVID-19 and Christmas shopping, it's no wonder why.


So how are we helping to combat this issue?

The nature of our service means you need your parcels ASAP and we understand how important it is to be receiving your products before you go into labour. So we are here to help.

In the last couple of months we have been sending items quicker than usual, normally we send your TENS machine on the day you select on checkout. We generally receive our TENS machines back 1 week before they need to be sent out, so we are sending those as soon as they are in - regardless of when they are due to be sent to you. Up until recently this has been enough, but it is getting less so.

Starting from now all TENS machine orders will be upgraded to express shipping - including those eligible for free shipping. We are finding express orders are taking around a week at most, so this is more on par with our standard delivery times.

If you have ordered products that aren't TENS machines, but still need it quicker than usual, please pop your due date in the notes on checkout and if you're due soon we'll send that express too - as these won't automatically be updated to express at this time.

We unfortunately cannot say this will stop all delays, when dealing with 3rd parties it is hard to control much once they leave our hands. But all that we can do on our end beforehand, we will do.

We recommend looking at current shipping times to your area if you're worried about arrival time. Items are sent from Western Australia and you can check how long it takes to your state here.


What can you do to help?

If you've already got a machine and have used it, we'd be so appreciative if you could pop them in the post at the first convenient moment. Early returns mean we get to send it out to the next customer quicker to allow for extended shipping times. In saying this, the machine is 100% yours to use for the entire hire period and we understand there is a lot going on postpartum, so if you don't have the time, energy or simply don't want to - there is no pressure to do so.

If you are still yet to order, where possible it is ideal to order your machine as soon as possible. We understand that you may still be making your mind up and if so, please flick us a message as we are happy to answer all your queries and help you to make the right decision for you. We want you to be able to use the machine you order, so if you are due soon we highly recommend you place your order ASAP and we promise we'll post it as soon as possible - sometimes we've been doing this minutes after you've placed it lately. If you are due further down the line, it is still very helpful to place your order as soon as possible. This allows us to plan accordingly and ensures you will be able to secure a machine as we have been experiencing high demand too lately. We know sometimes plans change, so we will always honour no-questions-asked refunds at any point before the machine is sent.
