Part-Time Retail Coordinator - Midland Store

The Birth Store is a small Australian business passionate about pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. We launched in 2021 and are constantly growing. We are currently looking at bringing on our fourth employee located out of our Midland store.

This part-time, casual position currently requires between 10-15 hours per week, depending on your availability, spread across two or three days. Those days are Monday and Wednesday, with the option of flexibility for the third day. This position would suit someone currently studying or looking only for a part-time or school-hours position.

Key Accountabilities

In this position, your duties will be varied across your workdays, and some include:

  • Responding to customer queries
  • General admin duties as required
  • Packing of online orders
  • Packing of products
  • Upkeep and cleaning of hire equipment
  • Opening and closing the store
  • Greeting customers in-store
  • Cash handling

About You

To succeed in this role, you will be trustworthy, able to work autonomously and be friendly and personable. Additional requirements include having at least one year of experience in retail, customer service or administration.

We would love to hear from anyone passionate about pregnancy, birth or postpartum. This role would suit someone looking to return to work part-time after maternity leave or someone currently studying midwifery or similar, though none of this is required.
