Our Mama Balm has a 12 month shelf life once opened. Please see the bottom of the product box or the top if the crimped tube for expiry date.
When should I begin using this products?
Begin use two weeks prior to commencing nursing to help condition skin, applying twice daily.
Should I apply Mama Balm after each feed?
Yes. Gently apply a small amount of balm to clean dry nipples after feeding. No need to remove residue prior to nursing, though we recommend a clean, slip-free surface to encourage babies latch. Do not apply the balm directly before feeding, this may impact your babies latch and your little one doesn't need a mouth full of balm with their milk.
PRECAUTIONS: Always patch test before use. For external use only. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Avoid contact with eyes. Store in a dry, cool place, out of direct sunlight.

Can I use Mama Balm on areas aside from my nipples?
Absolutely. Mama Balm can be used on any area of your skin experiencing dryness and irritation. We love keeping a tube of Mama Balm in our handbag or nappy bag, as our go-to for dry hands, or bubs dry ankles and elbows.
