Obsessed with this ball during labour

I had birth combs, a TENS machine (hired from here) and this spikey ball as my pain management/relief options for labour. I ended up not using the combs at all because the spikey ball was just so much easier! Unlike the combs, there was no fussing around with positioning it in my palm. I could just squeeze the s**t outta the ball! I honestly became so attached to it throughout my labour! And felt so fond of it afterward. This little ball maybe, nearly, trumped the TENS machine for me in terms of helping with navigating each contraction! Highly recommend having in your hospital bag

Great mind over pain tool

This was amazing for the distraction of mind over pain (obviously doesn’t take away the pain). It truly helped me! squeezing the ball in my hands help my mind go to another place and thoughts to distract myself from the pain.

Didn't let go of it for my entire labour!!

I had planned to give this a go during my labour and birth in a similar way to a comb but ended up holding onto if the entire time! Ball in one hand, tens in the other. 10/10 would highly recommend having it in your birth tool kit just in case it works for you too :)

This was my only form of pain management I used during my long labor. I bought x2 so I could always hold one in each hand. Pressing them into my back when things got serious… when they weren’t in my hands it felt like the pain was for worse. Buy them!
